PRESCHOOL STORY TIME at SEVIER COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM

Sevierville.- The preschool ready-to-read story time for the Sevier County Public Library System (SCPLS) continues with February’s theme – I Can Take Care of Pets!  Visit any branch of the Sevier County Public Library System this month as we read new stories; enjoy crafts & games for preschool children and their caregivers. During the week of February 4 – 8, the Seymour Branch Library, King Family Library, and Kodak Branch Library will present story time on the following days:

·         Seymour Branch Library, 137 W. Macon Lane, Seymour – Monday, February 4 at 11:00AM – I Can Take care of Pets! February is also Dental Hygiene Month!  Ms. Kathy will share the books, “Smile, Says Little Crocodile” and “Bear’s Loose Tooth.” The color for the month is “Valentine” pink, the shape is a heart, and the number for the month is seven. For more information, please call 573.0728.

·         King Family Library, 408 High Street, Sevierville – Thursday, February 7 – I Can Take Care of Pets! Today, Ms. Vickie will help us honor veterinarians by reading “Fuddles the Cat” by Frans Vischer. Craft a paper plate cat to take home.  Preschool Story Time in the Children’s Center at the King Family Library will be at 10:30AM. The color for the month is “Valentine” pink, the shape is a heart, and the number for the month is seven. For more information, call Vickie Kelly at 453-3532.

·         Kodak Branch Library, 319 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Kodak – Friday, February 8 – I Can Take Care of Pets! It’s time for a Valentine’s Day Party! Story time with Ms. Cee starts at 11:00AM. Enjoy the books, “Biscuit’s Valentine Day” by Capucilli and “Dora’s Valentine Adventure.” During craft time, children can make a Valentine Card and enjoy a party! The color for the month is “Valentine” pink, the shape is a heart, and the number for the month is seven. For more information, call Celia McKnight at 933-0078.
