Anuncio Público: Comisión Metropolitana de Planificación solicita Servicios Profesionales

La Comisión Metropolitana Knoxville/Knox County de Planificación solicita las calificaciones de empresas, negocios asociados y / o asociaciones comerciales para recoger datos de contéo de tráfico en aproximadamente 140 lugares en los condados Anderson, Blount, Loudon y Knox. Los datos de contéo de tráfico son parte de un programa anual para determinar el tráfico medio diario de las carreteras, por lo que deben ser recogidos por un mínimo de 24 horas completas entre lunes y viernes en cada lugar.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Metropolitan Planning Commission Request for Qualifications

 The Knoxville/Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission is soliciting qualifications from firms, joint ventures, and/or partnerships to collect traffic count data at approximately 140 locations in Anderson, Blount, Loudon and Knox counties. The traffic count data is part of an annual program used to determine roadway average daily traffic, and thus must be collected for a minimum of a full 24-hour weekday at each location.

Qualifications are due to the Knoxville/Knox County MPC, c/o Michael Conger, 400 Main Street, Suite 403, Knoxville, TN 37902 no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 15, 2013. Responses should be clearly marked Request for Qualifications: Traffic Count Data Collection.

Parent/Student Meeting at Vine Middle School

Dr. Jim McIntyre, Superintendent of the Knox County Schools, will hold a parent/student meeting at Vine Middle Magnet and Performing Arts School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 31 to discuss the collective goals and aspirations for the school.

The school is located at 1807 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

The King Family Library will be hosting their first Family Movie Night @ Your Library this coming Monday, January 28 starting at 4:30PM. The movie is a Disney Classic: “Alice in Wonderland.”
