Moms Connection Kicking off Monthly Series

KNOXVILLE –- At 10 a.m. on February 10, 2012 First Baptist Church of Knoxville will host Rev. Bob Money as he presents, “Strengthening Our Family Bonds,” the second in a monthly series of speakers for Moms Connection, a group for mothers of young children.

Moms have a lot of people to love, from their children to their husbands, but that doesn’t mean everything is perfect. So, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Rev. Money will be sharing real-world ideas for building strong relationships within the family. As the former counseling minister at First Baptist, Rev. Money has more than 30 years of experience with marriage and family counseling.

There is no charge for the event, but participants are asked to bring a breakfast finger food to share with other attendees.

After a successful New Year launch in January, Moms Connection is open to moms throughout the community who want to spend a morning connecting with other women who understand the ups and downs of rearing children. Childcare is provided by reservation to Jenny Bopp at

The group meets on the second Friday of each month, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Upcoming speakers will cover topics such as getting ready for spring, saving for your children’s education, and summer safety.
