Interpreters and Translators meet in Nashville


NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Association of Professional Interpreters and Translators (TAPIT), is having its 9th Annual Conference from September 9-11, 2011 at the Scarritt-Bennett Center in Nashville.

This important event will gather more than 100 professional interpreters and translators of 9 languages from 7 states for informative sessions and networking.

TAPIT members work in many languages including:

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE, AMHARIC, ARABIC, BOSNIAN, CATALAN, CROATIAN, CHINESE (MANDARIN),CHINESE (CANTONESE), DARI, FARSI, FRENCH, GERMAN, ITALIAN, JAPANESE, KOREAN, NEPALI, PASHTO, POLISH, PORTUGUESE, RUSSIAN, SERBIAN, SOMALI, SPANISH, SWEDISH, THAI, UKRAINIAN, VIETNAMESE.
