Authorities Request Assistance Identifying Individual Who Placed Suspicious Package Near Federal Building in Chattanooga

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Chattanooga Resident Agency, and Chief Bobby H. Dodd of the Chattanooga Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance with the identification of an individual suspected of leaving a package outside a United States Bankruptcy Court building earlier today.

At approximately 12:28 p.m. today, the suspect positioned a package at the handicapped entrance of the United States Bankruptcy Court near the intersection of Columbia and E. 11th Street, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The suspect was wearing a navy-blue, New York Yankees baseball cap with the bill facing backwards, and a black, red, and white, sleeveless jersey shirt with the word “ZOOYORK” emblazoned on the front. Additionally, the suspect was wearing a long-sleeve, navy-blue, shirt underneath the jersey.
