The photographs on display were originally submitted to Knox Heritage’s Photography Contest and created the May 6 tour route of historic sites through the Old City and surrounding area.  Submissions from photographers in sixteen area counties resulted in over 170 photographs from 30 photographers.

The Art & Architecture Tour Photographs will be displayed on the north side of the Balcony at the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street, from June 3-24, 2011. An opening reception will take place as part of First Friday activities on June 3 from 5:00-9:00 PM with hors d’oeuvres.  Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with additional hours on Saturday, June 4, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  For more information, please contact the Arts & Culture Alliance at (865) 523-7543 or
